Six Children Injured in Anderson County Car Accident

Six children and two adults were transported after an accident in Anderson County on Thursday evening.
The accident occurred on High Shoals Road near Cry Baby Bridge around 7 p.m. according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. According to officials, a Ford truck traveling east on High Shoals rear-ended a Jeep SUV that was stopped on the road.
No information has been released on the extent of the victims injuries, but they are at a local area hospital receiving treatment.
Both drivers have been charged in the wreck the driver of the Jeep was charged with stopping and standing in the roadway while the driver of the other vehicle was charged with driving too fast for conditions.
