While driving through my neighborhood this weekend, I noticed a child riding a bike with training wheels. That's quite a common sight, but what was not common was that the child was not wearing a helmet.  Now, when I was growing up, the thought of wearing protective gear was absurd. So was the thought of wearing a seatbelt and no one knew about airbags.  But times change and we have learned much about safety. And bicycle helmets, for children and adults, drastically reduce head injuries. Simply put, you should never allow a family member to ride a bicycle without a helmet.

The staff and attorneys at Harbin & Burnett strongly urge you to buy protective gear for all the bicycle riders in your family. And make sure everything properly fits.  For more information, go here: SafeKids Worldwide
