Greenville County Deputy Injured In Traffic Accident

South Carolina Highway Patrol have released details on an accident that occurred on Saturday, March 29th that involved a Greenville County deputy and another driver at the White Horse and Augusta Road intersection at approximately 4 pm.
According to reports, the deputy was hit by a Honda Accord that was traveling northbound on Augusta Road that attempted to turn left at the intersection.
While the driver of the Honda was uninjured, the force of the collision caused the the deputy's vehicle to slam into a nearby utility pole and required the deputy to be transported to Greenville Memorial Hospital for observation.
