Harbin & Burnett is pleased to announce that Jennifer Burnett was elected Secretary/Treasurer of the South Carolina Association for Justice (SCAJ) at the organization's annual convention at Hilton Head earlier this month.
The South Carolina Association for Justice (SCAJ) was founded over 50 years ago by a small group of trial lawyers. Since then, the mission has been to serve members and those we are sworn to protect. Over the years, SCAJ has grown into a statewide organization with over 1,200 members but the organization still holds the values of the original founders. SCAJ serves as a valuable resource to its members, promoting connections, providing education, presenting value and preserving justice.
SCAJ Mission Statement:
Our mission is to serve our members and those they are sworn to protect. We are advocates for those who are harmed by the actions of others no matter how powerful, wealthy or well-connected. We work to uphold and defend the constitutions of our state and nation. We fight tirelessly to protect the rights of the individual; to seek justice through open and fair courtrooms; to resist unjust laws; to support policies that hold wrongdoers accountable; to strengthen the justice system through education and action; and to uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity in the legal profession.
Harbin & Burnett is a proud supporter of SCAJ. To learn more about SCAJ, click here.
