Millions of Americans fill out a bracket every year, choosing which teams they believe will win the NCAA basketball championship. And people love to pull for the underdogs, even if it destroys their bracket. One site reported that over 99% of the brackets entered picked number 1 seed Virginia to beat UMBC. Yet most everyone, other than UVA fans, cheered when a 16 seeded team beat a 1 seed for the first time in the history of the tournament. And other upsets occurred throughout the brackets. We have a 9 seed playing an 11 seed with the winner going to the Final Four. It certainly makes for an exciting few weeks.
At Harbin & Burnett, we represent the underdogs. People who are injured. People who are fighting against insurance companies, with billions in assets. Companies that are able and willing to spend significant money against a person with limited resources. We give the underdogs the opportunity to have their day in Court. We spend money on their behalf to fully develop their case. We work on a contingency fee in most cases, which means that the underdogs don't have to come up with money to get a lawyer to take their case. And just as people get excited to see an underdog win in the tournament, we get excited to see an underdog get a fair and just result in their case.
If you've been injured, you need someone to help you. We are here.
