U.S Regulators Determine Tesla Wall Adapter Issue A Recall

In a report published at www.harbinlaw.com yesterday (read more "here"), new developments in the Tesla announcement of a potential fire hazard with the Tesla S charging system has prompted U.S safety regulators to classify the issue as a recall, citing the potential risk of fire.
While Tesla had announced that it was replacing the potentially defective charging units and providing an over-the-air software update for the vehicles in question, Telsa never used the term "recall" in it's statement.
This new recall comes on the tail of three separate road fires in the Model S sedans, while the NTHSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) is still investigating the two of those fires that occurred in the United States.
